I integrate priciples from the fields of Solution Oriented Coaching , Ericksonian Hypnosis, NLP and Meridian Based Energy Work (Attractor Field Therapy and Thought Field Therapy) within a holistic and psycho-spiritual framework. It is important to balance the need for change and growth with the need for acceptance and love as imperfect beings. We can work in brief or longer term formats in either a therapy or coaching style depending on your needs.

When working with couples I integrate the Mars - Venus Approach with extensive training in family and couples therapy.

When working with business owners and executives we work in a pragmatic fashion integrating the need for measurable results with the recognitiion that the self of the executive is his or her most valuable asset.

Treatment and Coaching plans are always discussed. Clients are encouraged to be fully involved in defining their own goals and the level of intervention with which they are comfortable.

PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

Dr. Schwarz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing psychotherapy for over 27 years. He is a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association of Marital & Family Therapy, and a diplomate in pain management from the American Academy of Pain Management. He is also an approved consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is diagnostically trained in Thought Field Therapy, an energy based approach to psychological problems. He has been involved in the development of Attractor Field Therapy. He is a diplomate n Comprehensive Energy Psychology.

Dr. Schwarz is Co-author of two books Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: A Clinicians Guide, and Tools for Transforming Traumas well as a variety of professional articles. He has also published two self-help audio tapes. .

In addition to a general practice in adult and child psychotherapy, Dr. Schwarz specializes in family & marital problems, trauma related problems, and mind-body problems. He also specializes in hypnosis and energy psychology. He is a licensed Mars & Venus Counseling Center and has been personally trained by John Gray.

Dr. Schwarz received his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and his doctorate at Hahnemann University. As president of the Institute for Advanced Clinical Training, Inc. an organization that sponsored workshops and seminars to train psychotherapists, he organized 14 international, national and regional conferences on brief approaches to psychotherapy, treating survivors of trauma & abuse and Ericksonian Hypnosis & Brief Therapy training over 10,000 therapists. He was a founding director of Access Behavioral Care, Inc. He is on the board of directors of the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology

He presents workshops on the local, regional and national and international level on a variety of topics. In the clinical world he speaks on Anxiety and Panc, PTSD and Trauma, Hypnosis, Energy Pscyhology. In the busines world he speaks on leadership, gender and snerational diversity, effective communication and creativity. . He has appeared on WHYY, WWDB and WRTI radio & WHYY and CNBC Television stations.
